General booking and rental conditions
We ask you to pay a 30% deposit within 1 week of making your reservation. We ask you to pay the remaining 70% no later than 6 weeks before arrival. You pay 100% if you book within 6 weeks of arrival.
After making your reservation, you will receive an e-mail with an invoice attached. This invoice states the payment terms and amounts. You can transfer them to us or pay via the link in the e-mail.
If cancelled up to 6 weeks (42 days) before the day of arrival, 10% of the rent will be charged.
If the cancellation takes place within 6 weeks (42 days) before the day of arrival, we will unfortunately not refund. You should then use your travel cancellation insurance.

When renting accommodation, we require a deposit. This will be returned to your account after your departure (after checking the accommodation) within a week at the latest.
Camping information and rules:
Campsite opening hours: The campsite is open to cars between 8:00 and 23:00 in high season. In low season the gate may close a little earlier. If you find the gate closed, you can park your car next to the kayak under the large campsite sign.
Plan your arrival: Due to departing guests and subsequent necessary actions, such as mowing a pitch or cleaning a mobile home etc., our rule is that you should arrive after 15:00. Should you accidentally arrive too early, please enjoy the surroundings and the beautiful lake.
Office/reception: Reception is open every day from 9.15 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm. In reception you will find information on excursions, day trips, walking and cycling routes, etc. and canoe hire prices. If you need us urgently outside these hours, you can always reach us. Want to leave: When ‘unfortunately’ (and we are sorry too) the time of departure has arrived, we would like to ask you to come and settle any outstanding amounts the day before. Our campsite’s latest departure time is 11:00 am and no earlier than 8:00 am.
Residual waste: At the bottom of the driveway are 2 containers where you can deposit your residual waste in a sealed bag. For the good ‘separator’, in the village you will find containers for paper, cardboard, plastic, cans and glass.
Plastic/glass bottles: Both plastic and glass are separated in France. We would like to ask you not to throw your plastic/glass bottles and jars in a rubbish bag, but to deposit them in the special containers. The glass container can be found on the road to Neuvic before the bridge on the right. In Neuvic at the roundabout 2nd right straight on past the Gamm Vert on the right you will find containers for paper, cardboard, plastic, cans and glass

Bread service: until 14:00, you can place your bread order online via our web page www.lesoustran.com/pain . The following morning between 8:30am – 10:00am, the bread ordered can be collected from the bar. In early and late season, bread service may not be available. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Snacks: In high season, the takeaway is open 5 days a week between 17:00 and 18:30 for takeaway fries and snacks, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Outside the high season, much on is possible, but we are not always open, please consult with us in time your requirements.
Small restaurant: In high season, our restaurant (terrace) is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 19:00h. Reservations are required. Please send us a message via SMS or WhatsApp for this purpose.
On Tuesdays, you can join us for ‘long table food’. On that evening we grill chicken legs, which will be savoured with chips and salad. On Friday, we have a barbecue. For these two special evenings, reservations can be made at reception the day before by filling in the reservation list.
Outside the high season, or in the low season, we act according to enthusiasm.
Bar: The bar and terrace are open every day (except Sundays) from 17:00 to 23:15/23:30 at the latest. In low season, opening hours are modified.
Barbecue: Only gas barbecues are allowed.
General fire pit near the bar: This is free* to use, but always after consulting the campsite owners. There should be a bucket of water ready at all times for emergencies. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket hang in the recreation room immediately to the left. (*only when nature is incredibly dry is it prohibited)
Pets (dogs/cats): are allowed (max. 2 per pitch/accommodation), but we trust you to observe our rules. Your four-legged friend must be kept on a lead throughout the campsite. A map explaining where you can walk your pet is posted in the office. Pets are (logically) not allowed to defecate on the campsite. There is a bin especially for ‘filled waste bags’ near the white house at the top of the driveway. Pets are not welcome in the sanitary building. Thank you for your understanding.
Laundry: Your laundry clean again, you can! You will find the washing machine and dryer in the sanitary building on the ladies’ side. Create an account on the WASHIN app via your mobile phone, choose your machine (washing or drying) and pay directly with your bank or credit card. If you can’t figure it out, we will be happy to help.
Car/caravan washing: This is not allowed. There is a car wash in the village.
Playground/trampoline: These can be used until 10.00 p.m. at the latest, unless stated otherwise by the managers. This is in connection with evening rest. Use at your own risk.
Children’s play forest: This can be used from 12:00 to 18:00 at the latest and entirely at the child’s and parents’ own risk. Please respect nature and be considerate of campers around the play forest. Be careful and don’t do anything crazy.
WIFI: The wifi is free, you will receive the code at reception.
Swimming pool: The opening hours are in principle daily from 10:15 am to 8 pm (exceptions possible). Our pool is ±8m x ±4m with a depth of 1.35 to 1.7m. An excellent size for cooling off. For reasons of hygiene and in agreement with the controlling authorities, taking a shower and footbath in advance is compulsory and swimming shorts and t-shirts are not allowed. Two sandy beaches are located ±4km from the campsite, a dip in the lake is possible 600m from the campsite. There are also several recreational lakes in the vicinity.
Chemical toilet: You can empty and clean your chemical toilet outside next to the sanitary building, on the right-hand side.
Cleaning of sanitary building: In high season the big cleaning takes place before 8:30am and between 12:00 and 2:00pm. Of course, we also do our rounds of the sanitary building in between. In low season, we are a bit more flexible in our time allocation depending on the occupancy of the campsite. The sanitary building is equipped with a disabled toilet and shower room.
Car loading: It is strictly forbidden to charge your car electrically on the campsite! Charging points can be found in the village and at Neuvic beach. There are also several possibilities in Ussel, ±20km from the campsite.
